Job Overview:

This opening is available to both experienced technicians and entry level starters on their first steps of a rewarding career. During an extensive initial training period you will learn and become certified to install and repair automatic fire sprinkler systems to manufacturer and company specifications. Opportunities are provided often to branch out, gain proficiency, and receive additional certifications across multiple disciplines.

A provided company vehicle will be continually equipped and modified based upon your roles and developing skills. Scheduled appointments are administrated by a coordinated central office team for efficient, and well-planned work days. A typical day includes eight hours of scheduled onsite work.

If you have no experience, but are excited to learn, we will provide you with the training and experience you need for success. Should you have previous experience, we will build upon it.


Responsibilities and Duties:

Training, certification testing, tools, hardware, and software will be provided.

  • Perform system installations to company standards and listed code requirements.
  • Provide clients with punctual and professional customer service.
  • Complete service documentation with company provided software and workflow practices.
  • Ability to work independently, or with other technicians as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, and personal appearance.
  • Follow company safety policies at all times.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read blueprints and system design plans.
  • Legal United States citizen authorized to work in Utah and surrounding states.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, and drug test.
  • Valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain a Burglar Alarm License.
  • Ability to work in various environments and circumstances.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Written and spoken English language skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Walking for extended periods of time.
  • Climb and safely work on ladders or lifts for extended periods of time.
  • Standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, or crawling while working.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual acuity up close, at distance, and peripheral.
  • High and low frequency hearing ranges.
